FEES
GME annually defines the amount of the fees that P-GAS participants must pay for the services provided.
The amount of the fees currently in force is shown below:
- one-off access fee of Euro 0.00;
- fixed yearly fee of Euro 0.00;
- trading fee of 0.0025 €/GJ for the Imports’ and Royalties’ segments;
- trading fee of 0.009 €/MWh for the segment pursuant to Legislative Decree 130/10;
- clearing fee of Euro 0.00.
Beginning on 1 October 2024, for the services of reporting to ACER the data and information referred to in Article 10, para. 10.3 of the Regulations for the Trading of Bids/Offers of Natural Gas (P-GAS), P-GAS participants will also pay to GME:
- a yearly fixed fee (OMPR P-GAS) of Euro 300.00;
- a variable fee (records-based fee), which is determined in compliance with Commission Decision (EU) 2020/2152 of 17 December 2020 and which depends on the number of records transmitted to ACER in the previous year.
This fee is calculated on the basis of the records of all the operations referred to in article 3, para. 1 a) of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1348/2014 that each market participant has carried out by relying on a specific Organised Marketplace (OMP). The amount of the records-based fee – determined for each year on the basis of the records transmitted to ACER in the previous year – is up- or down-adjusted by an amount equal to the difference between the latter and the records-based fee, as determined on the basis of the records actually transmitted to ACER in each year.
The amount to be paid for this variable fee is calculated according to the ranges shown in the following table:
