The 2008 Budget Law reduced the denomination of each Green Certificate from 50 MWh to 1 MWh. Consequently, the fee to be paid by each Market Participant for the services provided by GME for the trading of Green Certificates was changed as follows:
from € 3.00 for each 50-MWh certificate traded
to € 0.06 for each 1-MWh certificate traded.
For 2016, the structure and amount of the fees to be paid by each Market Participant for the services provided by GME (art. 7, para. 7.2 of the Integrated Text of the Electricity Market Rules) in the Green Certificates Market are as follows:
- for the first 2,500 certificates traded (each of 1 MWh): € 0.06 per certificate;
- over 2,500 certificates traded (each of 1 MWh): € 0.03 per certificate.
The above structure and amount of the fees are applied to the total certificates traded both in the sessions of the regulated market and on the Green Certificates Bilaterals Registration Platform (PBCV).
The € 0.03 fee is in effect from 1 February 2008.
The fees are to be paid into GME’s account with:
