The following definitions are used in this document.

2. WHICH DATA ARE OMPS REQUIRED TO DIRECTLY REPORT TO ACER UNDER ARTICLE 8.1a OF REMIT?
Under article 8.1a of REMIT, GME, as an OMP, is required to report to ACER all operations carried out by participants in the markets managed by GME and falling within the scope of REMIT. Such markets are currently as follows: MPE, MTE, MP-GAS, MT-GAS, and P-GAS.

3. HOW DOES GME FULFIL ITS DATA REPORTING OBLIGATION UNDER ART. 8.1a OF REMIT?
To comply with the above obligation, GME organised a service of data reporting to ACER for its market participants. The service is based on a dedicated digital platform (Organised Marketplace Reporting Platform – OMPR Platform). Through this platform, GME manages the necessary information flows from/to market participants and ACER. GME can carry out this activity because it registered as an RRM with ACER on 20 August 2015.

4. WHAT IS THE OMPR PLATFORM AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
The OMPR Platform is an online platform developed by GME, through which GME fulfils its obligation to transmit to ACER the data and information about operations carried out by participants in GME’s regulated markets, as set forth in REMIT.

5. WHAT ARE THE FUNCTIONS OF THE OMPR PLATFORM?
Through the OMPR Platform, GME
i) reports to ACER the data and information about all operations carried out by all participants in GME’s markets;
ii) makes available the documentation provided by ACER concerning GME’s successful reporting of data to ACER;
iii) provides market participants with the data (in ACER format) concerning the operations that they have concluded in GME’s markets.

6. HOW CAN ONE REGISTER WITH THE OMPR PLATFORM?
Participation in the OMPR Platform is open to all participants in the Electricity Market (ME), Natural-Gas Market (M-GAS), and Platform for the trading of bids/offers of natural gas (P-GAS), who/which have communicated their ACER code under the procedures described in Technical Rule no. 10 for the ME, Technical Rule no. 22 for the M-GAS, and Technical Rule no. 11 for the P-GAS.

7. IS IT REQUIRED TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT TO SIGN UP FOR THE OMPR SERVICE?
No, the service is automatically active for all participants in the ME, M-GAS, and P-GAS.

8. CAN GME, AT THE REQUEST OF ITS PARTICIPANTS, TRANSMIT DATA CONCERNING OPERATIONS CARRIED OUT IN ITS MARKETS DIRECTLY TO OTHER RRMs OR OTHER INSTITUTIONS?
No. To do so, participants may download from the OMPR platform the reports containing their data in ACER format and autonomously transmit them to other RRMs or other institutions.

9. WHAT ARE THE PROTOCOLS AND FORMATS FOR TRANSMISSION FROM/TO THE OMPR PLATFORM?
The data exchange protocols comply with the RRM requirements established by ACER and are aligned with GME’s standards. The data transmission formats are those indicated by ACER in TRUM.

10. WHAT IS THE COST OF THE OMPR SERVICE?
For the service of data reporting to ACER, participants are required to pay a fixed yearly fee. On a yearly basis, beginning on 1 January of the following year, GME determines the structure and extent of this fee and publishes them in the appropriate section of its website.

11. IS THERE AN OFFICE OF GME THAT IS DEDICATED TO THE MANAGEMENT OF THE OMPR SERVICE?
The e-mail addresses of the offices in charge of managing the OMPR service are reported in the OMPR User Manual.
